These are two military themed cakes that I have made recently. The first was based on a Challenger tank, and it certainly was a challenge. Not too bad for my first tank, but I would do a few things differently next time. The second was for a 5th birthday.

One of the recent trends with flowers, is for them to have a diamante crystal at the tip. The first flowers I saw this done with were roses, but the cala lily is perfect for this. I still think that on a personal level that the cala lily is my favorite flower. ..

This cake was based on a 1965 Black cab taxi. I didn't know how little the design had changed from the original. I suppose that it just goes to show that sometimes a design just works

Dress inspired rose ruffles

This was another of those cakes that I was really pleased to have been asked to make. I love being able to come up with a design that means something to the bride. The rose ruffle design on the cake was to mirror the roses on the brides dress. .
